Our Vision for North Bergen
Create an Accessible Local Government
The Mayor and Commissioners will hold open office hours throughout North Bergen at a variety of different times, so all residents have access to local representatives.
Create More Parking
Create more angle parking to increase the number of spaces and build more municipal garages.
Repair Roads, Sidewalks, and Sewers
Champion the largest road repaving program in North Bergen’s history. Upgrade our sewer systems to stop homes from flooding when it rains.
Expand Before and After School Programs
Partner with the Board of Education to expand school programs to assist students with their homework while parents are at work.
Improve Resident Services
Create an office of resident services, which will be open during early morning and evening hours and on the weekends.
Established A Local Jobs Guarantee Program
Renegotiate tax abatement agreements to require developers and businesses to give North Bergen residents the first priority on jobs.
Lower Property Taxes
Lower property taxes by stopping government waste.
Stronger Public Safety
Hire more police officers and increase the number of ambulances to improve response time.
Revitalize Parks and Open Space
Create more parks and facilities for activities such as soccer, baseball, and other recreation programs.
Established Green and Renewable Energy
Create more electric car charging stations and install solar panels on municipal buildings.

A voter may vote by mail by completing the Application for Vote by Mail Ballot (listed below) and returning the application to the County Clerk’s Office. To receive your ballot by mail, the application must be received by the County Clerk 7 days prior to the election. A voter may also apply in person to the County Clerk until 3:00 p.m., the day before the election. Download Here
