Larry Wainstein’s parents Enrique and Maria came to the United States from South America with Larry’s older brother Adrian. Enrique worked in a warehouse and Maria sold encyclopedias from door to door.  Eventually they saved enough money to open a bodega. Larry began working at a young age and attended Memorial High School in West New York. He worked to pay his way thru college and graduated from Saint Peter’s University. Today, Larry is a successful small business owner. He and his wife, Imelda, are raising their three children in North Bergen. Their family started a charitable organization to assist low income residents, single mothers, disabled residents, special needs children, and veterans. Larry seeks to become the first ever Hispanic Mayor in the history of North Bergen. 

Larry es un exitoso dueño de pequeños negocios y un defensor de la Comunidad, que espera convertirse en el primer Alcalde Hispano en la historia de North Bergen. Sus padres, Enrique y Maria, emigraron a los Estados Unidos desde Sudamérica junto a su hijo mayor, Adrian, en busca del sueño Americano Enrique trabajaba en un depósito / factoría , mientras que Maria vendía libros de puerta en puerta antes de juntar sus ahorros y abrir su propia pequeña bodega. Larry trabajó desde muy pequeño y así pudo pagar su carrera en la Universidad Saint Peter y logró graduarse, siendo el primero de su familia en graduarse de una Universidad.
